Alliance4Tech is a strategic alliance between 4 prestigious European technical universities aiming at the creation of a European Campus without borders for their students and faculties. The programme aims to offer talented and deserving students an innovative training course, during which they can carry out their studies in at least three different Countries. In addition to the local educational path, students will be able to participate in the "seasonal schools", whose offer reflects the strategic values of the alliance: development of soft skills, leadership and innovation skills, ethics and social responsibility. At the end of their studies, the students will receive a regular degree from their home university, together with a Joint Programme Certificate issued by the Alliance4Tech Partners.

EIT Digital Master School

Politecnico di Milano participates to the EIT Digital Master School and offers a double-degree master programme in cooperation with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). It consists in a two-year programme in computer science and information technology (ICT), with a focus on digital innovation and entrepreneurship, to equip students with high-level technical knowledge and business skills.
Students attend the first year at Politecnico di Milano and move for the second year to one of the top technical universities in Europe. At the end of the two years (120 ECTS), students receive two Master of Science degrees, one from each university attended, as well as the certificate from the EIT.
Politecnico di Milano provides two different EIT Digital study tracks within the Laurea Magistrale (MSc) in Computer Science and Engineering: Data Science and Human-Computer Interaction & Design. Both programmes combine technical major courses with a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Students also participate in a business challenge at European level, a two-week summer school and undertake a work placement in a company or in a research institute, all of which can take place in different locations across Europe.

M.Sc. in Computer Science and Bioengineering, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC)

The Master Program is a coordinated project between the Politecnico di Milano and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) to allow students enrolled in the M.Sc. Degree in Computer Engineering or Bioengineering of the Politecnico to earn also the M.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Bioengineering from UIC. The students attend courses at Politecnico for the first semester and then spend the second semester at UIC.

Politecnico has implemented exchange projects with numerous Chinese universities. Politecnico students attend classes in English in Chinese universities, but they also have the opportunity to participate in Chinese language lessons. Double degree students have to discuss their thesis project at both Politecnico and the host university.

TIME Top Industrial Managers for Europe

The Top Industrial Managers for Europe (T.I.M.E.) is an association of some of the most important European Schools of Engineering. The Politecnico di Milano is one of its founding members. The Association promotes bilateral agreements between its member Institutions in order to set up double degree programs. Within the T.I.M.E. Program, Engineering students are awarded both the degree of Politecnico di Milano at the level of Laurea Magistrale and the one of the partner Institution at the corresponding level. Both degrees have a legal value in the country where they are obtained. Within the T.I.M.E. Program, engineering students are allowed to substitute one year at the Politecnico di Milano, with two years abroad, in a partner institutions with which the bilateral agreement for a double degree has been stipulated. During their period abroad, students are required to face a workload of 120 ECTS, 60 of which will be recognized at the Politecnico di Milano. The Master’s thesis can consist of one project with 2 supervisors or 2 different projects. In any case, the thesis must be discussed in front of an official Committee according to the rules of each institution. From its creation, the dual degree TIME curriculum has achieved extraordinary results: more than fifteen hundred TIME students have obtained a double degree. Among them, more than four hundred, between Italian and foreign students, have a double degree with the Politecnico di Milano.
UNITECH

The UNITECH Program aims at integrating into the university curriculum an international experience and managerial studies. The program is for the Engineering students of Politecnico di Milano and allows them to attend the first or the second year of the M.Sc. Degree at one of the partner European universities. Every academic year, each university selects about 10 top students, who shall attend one semester or one academic year at the partner university, with a scholarship, followed by a minimum traineeship of 12 weeks, at one of the partner international companies, which remunerates the students with an adequate wage. Students successfully completing the program are awarded the prestigious UNITECH International Certificate.
