The Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with other institutions organizes I and II level specializing Masters.

First and Second Level Specializing Master in Technologies for Didactics

The online Master in technologies for teaching (DOL) is an annual specializing master of the first and second level for teachers of all disciplines in all schools of any kind, as well as trainers. The Specialising master includes 1500 hours in total and 60 ECTS upon passing a final exam. The teaching format includes alternating teaching modules of various kinds, advanced theory lessons, gaining specific skills, reviewing case studies, experimental activities with school classes. The teaching mixture ensures basic cultural quality and that the subjects of the course can be practically applied to teaching activities in schools. The main objective of the Master is to promote the creation of a community of teachers who learn, interact and share knowledge and good practices, in order to introduce technologies into their own school environment. In 2019, after a year of pause and restyling, DOL's proposal is renewed in terms of content, thanks to the fruitful collaboration between the HOC Lab, which holds the scientific direction of the course, and the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineeringwhich is its provider.

First-level Master ‘Digital Innovation Specialist,’ in collaboration with AHK German-Italian Chamber of Commerce

The Master is aimed at young talents newly hired by companies to work as Digital Innovation Specialists. The preferred hiring formula for this Master's program is the Apprenticeship of Higher Education and Research (Art. 45), which involves the placement of a recent graduate and the start of part-time training delivered through a university Master's program. With this formula, the company benefits from lower costs and important reductions that make enrollment in the Master's program very convenient. However, it is also possible to enroll people already in the company with 1-2 years of experience, and with another type of contract.

The Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering is in charge of the scientific direction and Cefriel is in charge of the management.

The 24-month online master's program starts in October 2024 and it alternates work with teaching and project work in companies for practical applications. It provides for a total commitment of 1,500 hours and the accreditation of 60 ECTS upon passing a final exam.

The objective of the Master's program is to train a professional figure with a broad and strategic vision of the role of digital technologies in businesses, capable of a) understanding the multiple opportunities for business innovation that can result from new technologies; b) enabling digital innovation, integrating technical skills with design and management skills.

The Master's program is aimed at participants with both scientific and humanistic degrees, without technical prerequisites, who can be placed in any corporate function where it is necessary to implement Digital Transformation projects.

At the end of the course, participants will acquire a Level I University Master's degree from Politecnico di Milano.
