My name is Jiaying Liu. I was born in China and raised in Portugal. I graduated in October 2022 and received a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology (Lisbon, Portugal). In 2021/2022, I studied in Politecnico di Milano as an exchange student for a year, where I also developed my master thesis entitled “Prediction of Unknown Primary Carcinoma in Head and Neck Cancer using Radiomics” under the supervision of Professor Luca Mainardi and Professor Valentina Corino.
In November 2022, I started my PhD in Bioengineering aiming at developing an AI-assisted Hybrid Digital Twin for Head and Neck Cancer patient’s stratification and treatment response simulation.
