PHD Student in Bioengineering
Jiaying Liu graduated in October 2022 and received a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology (Lisbon, Portugal).
In 2021/2022, she studied in Politecnico di Milano as an exchange student for a year, where she also developed her master thesis entitled “Prediction of Unknown Primary Carcinoma in Head and Neck Cancer using Radiomics” under the supervision of Professor Luca Mainardi and Professor Valentina Corino. In November 2022, she started my PhD in Bioengineering aiming at improving lung cancer screening using AI-based tools, specially focused on low-dose CT images.
