Activities

The laboratory's mission is to design, produce and test innovative electronic instrumentation to detect and control very small electrical signals, enabling advanced scientific and industrial new applications in any field of knowledge where are required resolutions well beyond the state of commercial art.

To achieve the highest performance and to adapt to the microcosm of the nano-bio science world, the laboratory co-design with the partners entire measuring instruments integrated into a single electronic chip (instrument-on-chip) of a few square millimeters.

The laboratory is presently leading collaborative projects in the field of Integrated Photonics platforms for high complexity telecom systems and in the field of single biomolecules detection and characterisation by means of impedance spectroscopy or of raman spectroscopy.

Service information

The laboratory is located in Via Giuseppe Colombo n. 81, Milan.
