Prof. CORTI ANNA
Ricercatore
Anna Corti graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2018. In July 2022, she completed her Ph.D. with honors in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, presenting a thesis titled "Multiscale modeling of vascular adaptation." Between 2022 and 2023, she served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Chemistry, Materials, and Chemical Engineering "G. Natta" and the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano.
Since 2023, she has held the position of assistant professor at Politecnico di Milano.
Her research activities encompass multiscale computational modeling of vascular remodeling, focusing on atherosclerosis and restenosis, and image analysis, focusing on radiomics and artificial intelligence methods within the realms of cardiovascular and cancer research. Dr. Corti has contributed to scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, conference proceedings, and presentations at national and international conferences, through invited talks and podium presentations. Dr. Corti serves as a Review Editor for the Cardiovascular MedTech section of Frontiers in Medical Technology. Her research has earned her several national and international awards, including the “Best Doctoral Thesis Award in Biomechanics” from the European Society of Biomechanics and the “VPHi Best Thesis Award in In Silico Medicine” from the Virtual Physiological Human Society.
