Nicoletta Di Blas is associate professor with the Department of Electronics and Information of Politecnico di Milano. She graduated in Classics and obtained a Ph.D. in Linguistic Sciences from The Catholic University, Milan. She teaches courses in communication within various engineering programs.
With HOC-LAB (www.hoc.polimi.it), she has been active in projects related to the following areas: innovative education, educational technologies (digital storytelling, collaborative virtual environments, Massive Online Open Courses design and Implementation…), technology-enhanced communication for cultural heritage and e-Health.
She is the director of DOL, online master in technologies for education, aimed at teachers on the job and co-director of MIDIS, master on Innovation at school, in cooperation with MIP (the managerial school of Politecnico).
She has taken part in more than 20 research projects, being the PI or coordinator of a number of them. She was the coordinator of City4Age, a H2020 project on the prevention of frailty in the aging population with 16 partners and 6 pilots cities.
She has (co)-authored more than 150 publications.
