Prof. PATTINI LINDA
Professore Associato
Linda Pattini received the Master degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1999. Her formation concerned at first the application of signal processing techniques to central nervous system and heart rate variability data. Then her research activity developed in the computational biology field. In 2003, she has got the PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Bioengineering Department of the Politecnico di Milano with a thesis developed in collaboration with Dibit-San Raffaele (Milano) concerning the mitochondrial proteome in the framework of a project about neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases. Nowadays she is Research Fellow at the Politecnico di Milano, where she holds a course of Computational Genomics and practical lessons in the classes of Fundamentals of Electronic Bioengineering and Biomedical signal processing Laboratory. Specific areas of interest include: nucleotide and protein sequence analysis, gene expression, proteomics (bidimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry).
