Sommario
On June 8th, 2023 at 3.15 pm Enrico Prati, Professor at Dipartimento di Fisica dell’Università degli Studi di Milano (UNIMI), will hold a seminar on "Spin Qbit, Basic description" in 5.03 Room (Building 5) Politecnico di Milano.
Among quantum computer technologies the silicon platform used to host and manipulate spin qubits stands for its potential to address millions of qubits, as required by most advanced quantum algorithms. The concept of spin-based quantum computing is introduced and of Zeeman splitting is given. The physics of silicon quantum dots is explained. The circuital model of quantum dots and the concept of charging energy are explained. Finally, the spin-to-charge conversion of used to readout the qubits is outlined.
