MARCO SANTAMBROGIO RE-ELECTED CHAIR OF THE IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY ITALIAN CHAPTER

Prof. Marco Santambrogio of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano has been re-elected Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Italian Chapter.

With more than 373,000 members, the IEEE Computer Society is the world's largest association of computer science professionals. Established in 1946, it is the largest of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ technical societies.

The association’s goal is to be the leading provider of information and services for information technology professionals worldwide, as well as to advance the theory, practice and application of automatic computing and information processing technologies. It organizes conferences, publishes the most important scientific journals in the sector and coordinates local chapters in 168 countries around the world. It offers members e-learning services, technical committees and working groups for the creation of standards. Through these activities, the association promotes the exchange of ideas, information and technological innovation among its members.
