La IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) ha nominato il Prof. Carlo Samori IEEE Fellow 2017, con la seguente motivazione: "For contributions to design of integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillators and Phase-Locked Loops".
