"Nurturers" are people who facilitate the growth and success of the young ones. The article "The Best Nurturers in Computer Science" (Kumar & Srikant, India Institute of Science, http://archive.csa.iisc.ernet.in/TR/2004/10/, Oct. 2004) defines metrics to compute "nurturers" based upon publications, collaborations, and tributes from junior computer science fellows. In the report, Stefano Ceri is ranked within the top 50 "Nurturers in Computer Science" based on publications count, and in the top 50 Authors and top 50 Nurturers based upon citations count.
