Giancarlo Bernasconi was born in 1964. He completed his studies in Electronic Engineering at the "Politecnico di Milano", Italy, in 1988. He then joined the "Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione" of the "Politecnico di Milano", first as senior specialist and then (2002) as Associate Professor. Main research interests: digital signal processing, modelling and inversion, geophysics.
