Elisabetta Di Nitto is an associate professor at Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione at Politecnico di Milano, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science. She is teaching Software Engineering for graduate students and Foundations of computer science for undergraduate students. Her current research interests are mainly on software engineering, cloud computing, process support systems, service-centric applications, dynamic software architectures, and autonomic systems. She was researcher at CEFRIEL (a research consortium among technical universities and industry in the Milan area) and visiting professor at University of California, Irvine (USA). She has published and presented various papers on the most important international journals and conferences and has served in the Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, SOCA Journal, Journal of Software: Evolution and Process as well as in the program committee of various international conferences such as ICSE, FSE, ASE, SEKE, DEXA, ServiceWave, ICAC. She has been also program co-chair ASE 2010 and of ServiceWave 2010 and general chair of ESEC/FSE 2015. Moreover, she has organized and co-chaired several workshops and has been part of the organizing committee of conferences such as ICSE, ASE, ICSOC. She has been also responsible for various EU projects, in particular, at the moment she is project coordinator of MODAClouds and principal investigator of SeaClouds.
