Yang Chen is PhD Student for MSCA Doctoral Networks at Adant Technologies Inc. and the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering from the Politecnico di Milano. He will carry out research on ISAC implementation and performance of WLAN beam-steering system & multi-beam multi-band hopping combined with 5G NR FR2/FR3 cellular beam-reconfigurable system. The objective is to implement ISAC and advanced signal processing from channel state information using sub-6GHz WLAN beam-steerable system in the presence of hardware imperfections.

He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering at the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2019. he also holds master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg (FAU) in 2025. During his time as a student assistant at FAU, he collaborated with researchers from Fraunhofer IIS to develop Doppler satellite positioning algorithms. This work has been published and included in IEEE. Furthermore, his master's thesis on FMCW welding radar simulation was completed at Fraunhofer IEM.
