Prof. MASERO RUBIO EVA
Ricercatore
Eva Masero obtained her B.Sc. in Industrial Electronics Engineering from the University of Extremadura (Spain) in 2016 and her M.Sc. in Electronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering from the University of Seville (Spain) in 2018. Afterwards, she worked as a researcher for the ERC Advanced Grant OCONTSOLAR (Optimal Control of Thermal Solar Energy Systems) under the guidance of Eduardo F. Camacho and José M. Maestre and conducted her Ph.D. in Automation Engineering at the University of Seville from 2018 to 2023.
In 2021, she was a visiting researcher at the University of Sheffield, UK. In October 2023, she joined Politecnico di Milano as an Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria. Her research is centered on the field of model predictive control (MPC), with emphasis on non-centralized scenarios. Along this line, she has focused on employing dynamic cooperative techniques for the control of large-scale interconnected systems, such as solar energy plants. Her research interests cover multi-agent, predictive, and data-driven control methods applied to energy systems.
