Shehzad Ahmad is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Power) from Air University, Pakistan (2019) and a master’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the U.S-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCASE), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan (2023).
He served as an Assistant Trainer and Power System Expert on GIZ and LACUNA funded projects at the Center for Intelligent Systems and Network Research (CISNR), University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar (2022-24).
His research interests include energy systems modeling, power expansion planning, hybrid energy storage system optimization techniques and smart grids.
