Oscar got his M.Sc. degree in Optics at Mexico's National Institute for Optics, Astrophysics, and Electronics (INAOE). He then worked as a Research Assistant at the Lipson Nanophotonics Group (Columbia University), where he developed novel fiber to waveguide coupling approaches. He joined the Photonic Devices group in 2021 as an Early-Stage Researcher under the PERSEPHONe project, where he works on developing a novel technological platform for photonics based on metal-halide perovskite semiconductors.
