Federico Giannini is a PhD student at Politecnico di Milano, at the Department of Electronics, Computer and Bioengineering, under the supervision of Prof. Emanuele Della Valle since November 2022. His research interests lie at the intersection of Streaming Machine Learning and Continual Learning to jointly address the problems of concept drifts, temporal dependence, and catastrophic forgetting when learning from data streams.
He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science with the thesis "Learning Personality Traits Through Unstructured Data" from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca in October 2019. He then received a 2nd Level Master's Degree (Master Universitario di II livello) in Big Data Science from Politecnico di Milano in January 2022.
