TOGNOLI AARON
Dottorando di Ricerca in Ingegneria dell'Informazione
Aaron Tognoli is a Ph.D. student at the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory (AIRLab) of Politecnico di Milano, DEIB. He obtained his M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2024. His Ph.D. project is being carried out at the Smart Eyewear Lab, a joint research center between EssilorLuxottica and Politecnico di Milano. The main focus of his project is the development and deployment of eye-tracking systems using neuromorphic sensors and data, leveraging their asynchronous nature.
This involves integrating both classic and neuromorphic technologies and algorithms, tailoring them for small, constrained hardware, and validating the systems through practical implementations. His research interestes also expand neuromorphic technologies to other computer vision tasks, like object detection and pose estimation.
