MANSOUR AHMED NAGY ABDELKHALEK
Dottorando di Ricerca in Ingegneria Elettrica
I am an electrical engineer from Egypt, I got my bachelors degree in energy and renewable energy from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2013 where I graduated top of my year with honors, during my bachelor years I lead a team to build an electric car from scratch and participated in the Shell Eco Marathon competition in march 2017, then summer of 2017 I got the opportunity to have an internship in TU Clausthal Germany where I became familiar with the industrial fair model of the "Virtual Synchronous Machine" for stabilization of electrical grids having a great number of renewable sources, I also did some MATLAB and Simulink Training with simulation of a Virtual Synchronous Machine then I initiated a rapid prototyping system using the dSpace boards and software and initiate a special user interface to change parameters and monitor the system. Later in 2018 after graduating I worked for a while at iSpark Egypt teaching kids of age range 4-14 STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). At the end of 2018 I worked for Innovation Hub Egypt as a part of a small team of engineers responsible for organizing Egypt’s first electric vehicle competition, very similar to Shell Eco Marathon but regional, It is called Electrical Vehicle Rally Egypt (EVER Egypt), I supervised the electrical system assembly, wiring, safety etc. for all 9 cars of the teams that were participating, I also assembled, wired, and completely created the electrical system for a 10th car in just 2 weeks, this car is meant to be the face of the event. In 2019 I was started my masters degree at Polimi electrical engineering smart grids track and I was one of 18 people out of 700 to get a gold merit-based scholarship. After graduating I started working at the university as a research assistant for the DEIB department, our research goal is a formal verification software for electrical protection systems.
