He earned a B.Sc. in computer engineering from University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines, in 2012, after which he worked as power electronics engineer until 2013. He achieved the M.Sc. in electrical engineering (energy technology) from RWTH Aachen, Aachen, Germany, in 2016, with a thesis on "Computational Control and Protection Methods for Multi-Terminal HVDC Systems". From 2016 to 2019, he was research associate at Philippine Microsatellite Program, where he led the development of a communications payload for the microsatellite Diwata-2 (PO-101), launched in 2018. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in systems and control at Politecnico di Milano since November 2019, working with prof. Lorenzo Fagiano. His research interests are in non-linear control, distributed and multi-agent control, and their applications.
