Matteo Cercola was born in Roma, Italy, in 1999. He received his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering, specialized in Artificial Intelligence from Politecnico di Milano in December 2023. His MSc thesis concerned the development of a Lidar Segmentation Neural Network for autonomous racecars. Starting from December 2023, he joined the mOve research group as a PhD candidate in Information Technology, Systems and Control area at Politecnico di Milano. His recent research interests focus on leveraging Generative AI and optimization algorithms to develop innovative solutions for complex decision-making problems.
