Sumit Chourasiya was born in Faizabad, India in 1991. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015, from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India. Sumit worked as an assistant manager at Bosch India, from 2015-2018. He was responsible for the research, design and development of common rail diesel fuel injection pumps and fuel control units. He did his Master's in Mechanical Engineering from 2018-2021 at Politecnico Di Milano and enrolled as a Ph.D. student under DEIB in the 37th cycle thereafter.Currently, he is working towards his Ph.D. project on Feedback Linearization based Control of Non-holonomic Mobile robots under the supervision of Prof. Luca Bascetta. His research interests include nonlinear robust control, system identification and modeling, and multivariable control methods.
