Marco Di Gennaro was born in Pollena Trocchia (Napoli) in 1999. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering in 2021 and his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2024, both from Politecnico di Milano. He discussed his M.Sc. thesis on Binary Analysis using Graph Neural Networks, entitled "Packhero: Leveraging Graph-Based Analysis for Packer Identification," supervised by Prof. Michele Carminati.
Since May 2024, he has been a PhD student in Information Technology at PoliMi.
His research focuses mainly on the security of Federated Learning and Graph Machine Learning algorithms. Furthermore, he works on the application of Machine Learning to typical cybersecurity problems.
