Camilla Rinciari is a PhD student in Science, Technology, and Policy for Sustainable Change supervised by professor Paolo Volontè. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and a Master’s degree in Design for the Fashion System from Politecnico di Milano. Alongside her doctoral studies, she collaborates on research examining the initiatives of Italian fashion brands in the metaverse and digital environments. Her work focuses on the presence and communication strategies of technology employed by fashion brands in video games, virtual realities, and the metaverse, exploring their impact on societal dynamics and emotional experiences. Her research focuses about the impact and co-relation new digital technologies have on and with society.
