Andrea Pimpinella was born in 1993 in Rome, where he received his bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering at University La Sapienza in 2015, with a final grade of 110/110 Cum Laude. Then, in 2015 he enrolled in Politecnico di Milano, where he got a Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2018 with the same final grade. From Politecnico di Milano he also received in 2022 a Ph.D. in Information Technology with laude.
Currently, he is a Junior Researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano.
From January to March 2023, he worked as a visiting scholar at the Department of Urban Studies and Planning of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston.
His research focuses on the development of data-driven and intelligent approaches to the management and monitoring of wireless networks, with specific attention to Internet traffic forecasting and user Quality of Experience (QoE).
Currently, he is a Junior Researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano.
