Giacomo Ziffer is a Ph.D. student of Politecnico di Milano at the Department of Electronics, Computer and Bioengineering under the supervision of Prof. Emanuele Della Valle since November 2021. His research interests are Streaming Machine Learning, Evolving Data Streams, and Continuous Time Series Analysis. He studies how temporal dependence and concept drift impact learning data streams and time series.
He graduated in Computer Science with B.Sc. at Politecnico di Milano in September 2018. After receiving his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science with the thesis titled “Incremental “Naïve Bayes with Kalman Filtering for Learning with Concept Drift” from Politecnico di Milano in October 2020, he continued his research as a Graduate Research Fellow.
