Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Francesco Cambria (Politecnico di Milano) will hold a seminar titled "Property Graphs: Foundations and Applications" in the Data Science and Bioinformatics Lab (Building 21). The event is part of the Data Science Seminars organized by the Data Science Lab at Politecnico di Milano.
This presentation will introduce the fundamental concepts of property graphs, a widely used model for representing complex relationships in data. The speaker will explore how property graphs differ from the relation model and how to query its data. Additionally, he will highlight some of the Data Science research group's works, including PG-Triggers, a mechanism for event-driven graph updates, and Association Rule Mining in Graphs, which uncovers hidden patterns in interconnected data.
