Sommario
On March 19th, 2025 at 10.30 am the seminar titled "Ethics of AI: Investigating Diversity, an under-studied determinant of Fairness" will take place at DEIB Conference Room "Emilio Gatti" (Building 20).
As artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly influences our life and decision-making in critical domains, concerns about fairness and bias have gained prominence. This seminar explores the ethical dimensions of AI, focusing on diversity as a crucial yet under-studied determinant of fairness. We will discuss the different aspects of diversity in generative AI, namely linguistic, socio.cultural and data diversity, and inclusive representation.
