Accurate physical models and cutting-edge estimation algorithms enhance the safety, efficiency, and longevity of lithium-ion batteries. This seminar explores advanced modeling of electrochemical, thermal, and aging phenomena, introduces novel experimental identification techniques, and addresses the challenge of State-of-Health estimation. Finally, key insights into optimal battery pack sizing for hybrid electric helicopters are presented.
