During the seminar an interesting field for the application of Systems&Control's theory will be presented: the anaerobic co-digestion process for bio-methane production, with focus on the direct applicability in full-scale plants. The methodologies, and related results, that will be discussed entail: first-principle modeling, parameter subset selection (PSS) and estimation, classic control and advanced robust nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC). Some results from real experiments conducted so far will be shown too.
