On Thursday September 12th, 2024 starting at 9.00 a.m., the event titled "Girls@CSE" will take place in the "Emilio Gatti" Conference Room of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (Building 20).
The event aims at sharing scientific research interests and personal experiences of girls and women in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) through insightful testimonials.
In addition, the organisers also aim to stimulate discussions on the topic of gender balance and to foster community building, i.e. the construction of a cohesive and supportive community among the participants.
The meeting will be introduced by a welcome speech by Prof. Cristina Silvano, followed by a series of speeches and testimonies from the corporate and academic world.
The programme will be closed by a panel discussion with the participation of women from different generations to complete the reflection on the female figure and her personal and professional growth at the centre of the meeting.
