On June 6th, 2023 at 4.00 pm Dr. Antonio Russo, from the Università degli Studi della Campania, will give a seminar on the "Characterization of integral Input-to-State stability for switched and hybrid systems" in Schiavoni Seminar Room.
Some recent results related to stability and stabilization of switched and hybrid systems will be presented. Specifically, the integral Input-to-State Stability (iISS) property will be considered for switched and hybrid nonlinear systems. A sufficient dwell-time condition guaranteeing iISS for switched systems with slow switching will be provided. Moreover, characterizations of iISS for hybrid systems will be shown in terms of 0-input Uniformly Global Asymptotic Stability and Uniformly Bounded Energy Bounded State, and as a combination of local and practical weaker variants of iISS under suitable conditions. Furthermore, the problem of stabilization of continuous-time, switched affine linear systems satisfying dwell time constraints, will be addressed by proposing a state-dependent switching law based on Lyapunov-Metzler inequalities. A practical power converter application will be presented.
