On May 15th, 2023 at 12.15 pm, a new CommTech Talks will take place at DEIB Beta Room – Building 24.
Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) have been defined in Rel-17 of 3GPP specifications, which has generated growing interest in the topic. NTN will support satellite access using both 5G NR to serve handheld devices for global service continuity and NB-IoT to address massive IoT use cases in areas such as agriculture, transport, logistics, and many more.
Keysight Milano is mainly focusing its R&D activities on developing a full-stack multi-UE simulator for 4G and 5G networks.
During the presentation, we will focus on the solutions to test Non-Terrestrial Networks.
CommTech Talks @ POLIMI are a series of seminars and panels organized by the study program in Telecommunication Engineering of Politecnico di Milano for stimulating the networking between students and people from industry and research.
