In 2024, the Department's total budget exceeded EUR 40 million annually, of which 50% came from collaborations with academic institutions or research centres and research activities in the EU framework, 30% came from collaborations with industry and businesses (including laboratory tests, teaching contracts and other consultancy activities) and the remaining 20% from NRPP funds.
