Project abstract
Accelerometers are key components of inertial navigation systems. This project focuses on the development of MEMS-based accelerometers with a consistent degree of miniaturization but holding performance similar to state-of-the-art quartz devices. This will enable the use of multiple accelerometers and the exploitation of redundancy to boost the overall navigation system performance.
