CALEIDOS is about implementing European policies for the regulation of chemicals (REACH).
It approaches a huge knowledge gap in REACH, which mentions non-testing methods (NTM) and requires that any effort has to be done to avoid animal use, but does not identify which methods to use.

Main objectives are:
- verify the possible use of NTM for REACH
- study 6 environmental and human toxicity endpoints
- integrate different methods achieving superior performance
- release validated and open access integrated models for those endpoints
