Nicolò Gusmeroli was born in Talamona (SO) in 1993.
He earned his B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Verona in 2015.
In 2017 he received his M.Sc. in Mathematics from the department of Operations Research of the ELTE University (Budapest - Hungary). He completed his doctoral studies at the Alpen-Adria-Universitaet of Klagenfurt (Austria) in 2021, under the supervision of Angelika Wiegele.
Then he did one year of research at the TU Dortmund (Germany) and he worked a few years for Optit in Bologna (Italy).
From April 2024 he is a postdoc in the Operations Research group of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of the Politecnico of Milan.
His research interests are: nonlinear optimization, semidefinite programming, combinatorial optimization and integer programming.
