Daniele Moro was born in Pordenone in 1992. He received his B.Sc in Computer Science Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2014. In April 2017, he received his M.Sc in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Milano with a thesis entitled "Traffic classification offloading to stateful data plane in Software-Defined Networking".
Since 2017, he is Ph.D. student at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering in the area of Telecommunications.
His research interests are in the field of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV), with a focus on programmable data planes and offloading of network functions.
His Ph.D. thesis focuses on the development of a framework for network function offloading in heterogeneous networks.
