Federico Reghenzani, PhD, is an assistant professor (RTD-A) at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria (DEIB) since 2023. His primary research interests lie in embedded systems, with a particular focus on real-time computing, safety-critical systems, and high-performance computing. In 2021, he received the PhD cum Laude in Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis entitled “Beyond the Traditional Analyses and Resource Management in Real-Time Systems”. He has been a visiting researcher at several international institutions, including the Office National d'Etudes et de Recherches Aérospatiales (France), the University of Central Florida (USA), the European Space Agency (Netherlands), and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (USA). With over 50 publications in international conferences and journals, he is actively engaged in multiple research projects, including both EU-funded and industrial initiatives. He regularly collaborates with the European Space Agency on safety-/mission-critical systems for spacecraft and satellites.
