Giovanni Quattrocchi earned his B.Sc. (2011) and his M.Sc. cum laude (2014) in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. In 2018 he obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on the runtime control and performance of distributed systems (e.g., web services and big-data frameworks) deployed on the Cloud. He visited University of California San Diego as visiting student in 2013 and Imperial College London as visiting researcher in 2017. He is currently working as post-doc researcher at Politecnico focusing on novel Cloud and Edge architectures (e.g., containers and serverless) and on the control of distributed systems (e.g., big-data and machine learning frameworks).
