Claudio Prati, born in 1958, received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1987. He joined the DEI in 1991 as an Associate Professor of Signals and Systems. He is Full Professor of Telecommunications since 2000. His main research interests are focused on the area of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) digital signal processing.
