Farbod Shahinfar is a Ph.D. student at Politecnico di Milano. He received his M.Sc. from the Sharif University of Technology (2022), and B.Sc. from the Iran University of Science and Technology (2020). His research focus is on the intersection of computer networks and operating systems. He tries to improve the systems on a network for faster and more efficient communication. This task involves the study of network devices, operating systems, and new software techniques (e.g., kernel bypass, eBPF). Farbod has been honored with the ACM CoNEXT best poster (2021).
