Francesco Panebianco was born in Catania in 2000. In 2021, he earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. In 2024, at the same university, he graduated cum laude with an M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineering. His master's thesis, supervised by Professor Michele Carminati, focused on adversarial examples in computer vision classifiers. Since May 2024, he has been a Ph.D. student, with research interests encompassing the security of artificial intelligence and the use of artificial intelligence for security. His work specifically targets large language models, adversarial attacks, and backdooring.
