Carlalberto Francia graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2024, presenting a thesis on the validation of a machine learning system for markerless motion analysis during virtual reality rehabilitation. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, where he focuses his research on developing AI-based algorithms and software for markerless motion analysis. He is also interested in implementing predictive models for pathologies using joint kinematics data. He is involved in the Active3 project, which aims to promote the integration of children with disabilities into school environments through the use of innovative technologies.
