Simone Mentasti is a Researcher at the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory (AIRLab) of Politecnico di Milano, DEIB. He obtained his M.S. degree in Computer Science from Università Statale di Milano in 2017 and his Ph.D. in Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano in 2022. His research activity focuses on sensor fusion and obstacle detection and tracking across diverse domains, spanning from autonomous vehicles to indoor robotics to agriculture. He also collaborates with the Mechanical Engineering Department on various projects related to urban mobility and self-driving cars.
