Riccardo Pieroni was born in Castiglion Fiorentino (AR) on January 24th 1996.
He received the BSc on September 2018 in Mechanical engineering and the MSc on December 2020 in Mechanical engineering - mechatronic and robotics cum laude from Politecnico di Milano. He defended a thesis concerning the autonomous street crossing of a small two wheeled vehicle for goods delivery in urban areas.
From March to September 2021 he was in Turin, working for a company in the automotive sector. His main tasks were to develop and implement perception and navigation algorithms for a level 5 autonomus vehicle. He is currently a PhD candidate in System and Control at Politecnico di Milano and member of the mOve group.
