Bernardo Camajori Tedeschini and Marco Mussi have been awarded the 2025 Dimitris N. Chorafas Foundation Prize.
Camajori Tedeschini received the award for his thesis “Cooperative Machine Learning Methods in Distributed Systems” (supervisor: Prof. Monica Nicoli), and Mussi for his thesis “Online Learning Methods for Pricing and Advertising” (supervisor: Prof. Marcello Restelli).
Established in 1992 by Prof. Dimitris N. Chorafas in collaboration with leading Swiss scientific academies, the Foundation promotes excellence in scientific research by recognizing outstanding PhD candidates under the age of 30 from 26 partner universities across 15 countries.
Each prize amounts to USD 5,000. At Politecnico di Milano, two prizes are assigned annually within the PhD Program in Information Technology.
