Cesar Diaz, researcher at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering – Politecnico di Milano, has won the IDEA League Exchange Fellowship 2023 with the project Integrating Incentive-Based and Direct Control in Electric Vehicles Management.
As a beneficiary of the exchange programme, he will have the opportunity to spend three months at Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, and Chalmers University of Technology, in Sweden, where he will be able to pursue his research in the areas of optimisation techniques for charging electric vehicles, electrical networks analysis in real-time simulators, integration of distributed energy resources, demand response for smart-grids, and flexible loads modelling.
